Dickey`s Barbecue Pit in Abilene

22 bucks for two entrees and they give you little bitty portions. Not worth the money. Pretty bad service

The lady cutting the meats never changed her gloves, put diffetent meats on same chopper, then puts all the different meats on the scale. Then grabs bread with same gloves dripping with oil. All.our food and everyone elses has veen cross contaminated. Sure hope we don't fet sick or worse food poisoning.

The waffle fries are the best

I call in to expedite my order because I'm working, When I show up to pick up wasn't ready yet.so I waiting when him make my Order don't looks like same amount of portion like days before.So I tell him about it. He told me last days I give you extra portions. REALLY!! WELL I EXPECTING THE SAME AMOUNT EVERY TIME. NEXT TIME DO IT RIGHT SINCE DAY ONE .DONT SERVE OR GIVE MORE.BECAUSE. TODAY WAS FEELING GIVE ME ONLY LIKE HALF OF PLATE .

Food is great, but they are ALWAYS out of something .... MAC & CHEESE IS AWESOME if they have it. Why not make 2 pans instead of one.?? Male working was polite, young female couldn't of been ruder. Being a food truckowner/ operator we give 100% to both service and food quality.

Overall good and tender meat. Plus it's the only BBQ joint that I've been to that serves French fries.

Restrooms were a little dirty. Very low water pressure in sink. Order was incorrect. Food tasted good

Terrible service, women behind counter had terrible attitudes and forgot my full rack of ribs. Called to let them know and there phone wasnt working. Piss poor service, brisket was cold and mostly fat.

This Dickeys location serves the most consistently good Brisket around. In my opinion it's the best BBQ place locally and deserves a visit. Especially around lunchtime and meet Arthur. Probably the best and friendliest meat cutter around. His obvious love for his job and customer service make visiting Dickeys well worth it. Great food, great people.

Great food if they ever have all the stuff to make what you want. I’ve been there several times and only once did they have what I wanted. No signs informing customers of what they were out of. I understand that this place gets busy due to how good their food is. Prep better. The guy told me that they would have more bakers in an hour if I wanted to come back. Also the guy preparing the sides tonight 01/05/19 continued to pull his pants up, note that he kept his gloves on as he does this. And turns around to handle more food. So I give this place a 2 rating due to poor service, and poor planning.

Talk about amazing staff!! Super clean, and very too my unlike other Dickeys I've been too.

Food was good but waiting in line for 30 minutes just to order sucked. It wasn't that busy.

My husband and I stop at Dickey's in Big Spring nearly every time we go through there. Food is always good and restaurant is clean.Also, on our last trip, I left my purse there and didn't notice until an hour on down the road. Called the number on the receipt, talked to the owner, Connie, and in a matter of just a few minutes she had called the store and then me back twice (once for more info on where we were setting so they could look at security cameras to see who picked it up when they didn't see it initially; and a second time to let me know they found it). Appreciated that she was prompt in calling me back with info on my purse.

Their sandwiches are too salty, but their cookies are good. They have great customer service.

Wish I could share a picture. Stopped in here for lunch and paid $18.00 for $5.00 worth of meat. 1 slice of brisket and “cubes” of turkey. I asked to swap the turkey out with an actual slice and they stopped talking to me. It was super awkward. Wouldn’t recommend.

They have a good spread and the place is clean, I patiently hate their sauce containers. You will too! I might even take some to the shooting range!!

If I wanted my order to be missing half my food I would have just went to the McDonald's across the parking lot. I even asked if everything was in the bag on my call in order before leaving. Won't buy here again.

Luved the food but 1 employee could've @ least acted like he wanted 2 be @ work instead of yawning in my face the whole time I was trying 2 place my order... Mind you I'm ordering 4 six people & they aren't cheap & their credit card machine was down... So I how I kept my composure I do not know but the rest of the staff was great!!!

Each and every time I order online for pick up it's never ready. My pick up time today was 1:30 I ordered it online at 1:00, it's now 1:45 and they are still putting it together. My order was a two meat plate. Horrible service, ok food. Time to find another place.

We love going to Dickey's for the great baked potatoes. The pulled pork is always delicious with a great staff.

Best BBQ Iv had in years. Many options and great portions. They may be a little on the higher price end but it pays for the delicious meat and friendly staff. My new favorite spot.

Lost online order, had to wait awhile. Said their machine has been acting up. Follow up online order with a phone call. Staff ignored entire rime we were there the 4 people in line to order. Good food just takes awhile.

This is probably one of the very few 1 star reviews I’ll ever leave. The lady handling the food order for the person in front of us was NOT professional in any capacity. I’m not sure if she just wasn’t having a good day, but I saw the family in front of me do nothing wrong to receive a threat from the person handling their food with a knife in their hand. I believe her words to the father in front of his wife and kids were: “You wanna try me?” Also, her manager was right there next to her when it happened and she didn’t even bat an eye.Totally unacceptable. I had to walk out. I refuse to purchase from an establishment who treats their customers this way. No apologies for her actions or anything. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Great brisket, waffle fries, cole slaw and tea! A bit pricey but worth it.
